Friends,

If you’re a Christian parent, pastor, or grandparent who has felt uneasy about the direction of public education, this episode is for you.

I just released a new conversation on The Counterrevolution Podcast with Alex Newman and Robert Bortins, co-authors of Woke and Weaponized.

And I don’t say this lightly:
this may be one of the most important conversations I will have this year.

We discuss a few things that many Christians sense but struggle to articulate:

Education is not neutral.
It never has been.
It is always discipleship.

The modern government school system wasn’t merely mismanaged or accidentally captured by bad ideas. Historically, it was designed to reshape beliefs, loyalties, and culture away from God and toward the state.

In this episode we cover:

  • the ideological roots of government schooling
  • John Dewey and progressive education
  • why “School Choice” still leads to government control
  • why pastors must begin addressing education from the pulpit
  • why homeschooling and church-centered education are growing
  • and what families can do right now

This isn’t a neutral review or detached analysis.

It’s a clear-eyed agreement with the authors’ argument and a call for Christians to act.

If you’ve read my recent Substack reflections on the book, this conversation goes even deeper.

My encouragement is simple:

Read the book.
Listen to the conversation.
Then prayerfully consider what faithfulness looks like for your family and your church.

Because someone will shape the next generation of children including children from Christian households.

Grace and peace,
John
