The Biblical Thinker Ministry Report, February 2026
With your help we have published books, launched a web site and more . . . in 6 months!
- The Student Worldview Dictionary published, August 2025—Our first printing, 500 copies, warehoused in Suffolk, Virginia.
- Marketing—The Student Worldview Dictionary is a unique product with a universal appeal. The market is huge, and requires new market strategies.
- Student Worldview Dictionary market success—The Dictionary is sold in three bookstores. Over 30 ministry partners have reviewed it, and several ministry partners’ Web sites link to thebiblicalthinker.com. We are in discussions with more marketing partners including a large international homeschool ministry. We hope to partner with Christian Book and Rainbow Resources, both major homeschool curriculum providers.
- TheBiblicalThinker.com launched—Thanks to the work of Judah Lyons, our new webmaster, our website is complete. Besides our (and Chris Evans’) books, there is a Free Resources section that includes resources for teaching holidays biblically.
- We are a Family Business—The team was expanded, adding Bradley Plumley and Judah Lyons to the team of Max, Margie, and Rachel.
- Amazon launch—The Biblical Thinker Amazon account was revived and the Student Worldview Dictionary featured. The Dictionary has 33 5-star reviews in its first weeks!
- International work planned, Spanish—We are in discussions with partners to translate the Student Worldview Dictionary into Spanish for printing and distribution in the 20 countries with Spanish as the official language.
- Portuguese—We are in discussions with a partner to translate the Student Worldview Dictionary into Portuguese for printing and distribution in the Brazilian Principle Approach® schools and other nations.
- Uganda—Plans are being made to print and distribute the Student Worldview Dictionary in Uganda, where English is the official language.
- Presentations and travel—The Biblical Thinker was represented at the Christian Education Initiative Summit VI in Lynchburg, VA in September 2025 and at the MLK Leadership breakfast in January 2026. Plans for 2026 include the Biblical Worldview Conference in Northern VA in February 27-28, the Illinois Family Institute in March and August, Herzog Foundation’s America 250 March 8-10, CEI Board meeting in Appomattox, and CEI Summit September 10-11.
- Guardians of Liberty—Seven Principles that Defeat Tyranny published—This book is the culmination of decades of teaching the 7 principles of liberty as expressed by Rosalie Slater in Teaching and Learning America’s Christian History and Verna Hall in The Christian History of the Constitution.
- New Christ and Culture group launched—New Day Church in VA Beach, led by Pastor Rich Pickens, invited Max to teach a class at his church using Guardians of Liberty. We hope that this class grows into a second group in Tidewater similar to the Christ and Culture class at Kempsville Presbyterian Church.
- Odyssey of Faith, Picture Book and Coloring Book for Preschool-2nd Grade—This new beautiful book, a version of Odyssey of Faith for younger children, is now in our bookstore.
- CRM and database—To communicate, market and track relationships, Judah has created a personalized tool to reach every Christian school (approximately 25,000) in America. This very powerful tool will enable us to directly correspond with those who could benefit from The Biblical Thinker.
- Dominion Classical Academy—The Biblical Thinker provides educational services to a fledgling Principle Approach® school in Chesapeake. DCA is a homeschool hybrid in its second year, serving grades K-8.
- New Publications—Books scheduled to release in 2026 include:
Success! The High School Student’s Complete Guide to College and Career
Free Men and Free Markets—The Bible on Economics, Business, and Entrepreneurship
How to Teach the Bible
What a TPUSA leader said about the Student Worldview Dictionary:
Max Lyons’ Student Worldview Dictionary is a rare and much-needed contribution to Christian education. It is currently the only Christian dictionary written specifically for elementary-aged students, and it does something few reference books even attempt: it teaches children that words carry moral and spiritual meaning . . . Words are never neutral. They shape thought, and thought shapes life. Give a child true words, and you give him a foundation for truth. -TPUSA
Thank you, to all our friends and ministry partners. We deeply value our relationship with you.
Please join us in praying for a wholesale partner for the Student Worldview Dictionary, and for new Christian schools and hybrids we can support.
For Christ and Liberty,
Max Lyons, Ph.D.
President, The Biblical Thinker
Suffolk, Virginia
I had the pleasure of reviewing the Student Worldview Dictionary. It is a fantastic companion to the 1828 Noah Webster Dictionary by adding newer, commonly used words or expanding definitions of words with the latest versions and comparing the biblically based definitions against the world's definitions. This is critical at the younger ages as biblically based definitions such as self-government, liberty, politics, government, jurisdiction, authority, law, marriage, etc are essential for developing a Biblical Worldview. This dictionary also provides helpful teaching techniques for expanding the vocabulary of the students.
